After the opening of the port, Mokpo lacked water for topographical reasons, so there were water traders who carried a forklift and sold water from afar. Okdani, an actual person who lived as a water seller through the alleys of the Korean village, is also the main character of Cha Bum-seok's play "Ok-word!"
Okdan-gil is the alley that Okdan-gil went around with a water crab. The small alleyway on Okdan-gil is intertwined like a blood vessel of the heart, and various modern historical sites remain in it, and murals are drawn along the alleyway as an urban regeneration project.
