Another name of Yudalsan Mountain is Yeongdalsan Mountain, which is named because it is a place where souls pass.
The large stem of the Noryeong Mountain Range reaches the southern end of the Muan Peninsula and rises at the last point, and Yudalsan Mountain has an area of 140ha and a height of 228.3m, which is not very high, but is the last peak of the Noryeong Mountain Range and the southwest end of the land leading to the Dadohae Sea.
There are many pavilions such as Daehakru Pavilion, Dalseonggak Pavilion, Yuseogak Pavilion, and Soyojeong Pavilion, and there are many attractions such as singer Lee Nan-young's "Tears of Mokpo" monument and Korea's first outdoor sculpture park, and 2.7km round road of Yudalsan Mountain offers a panoramic view of Mokpo city and Dadohae.
